Nella June Tudor, 94, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City, Indiana.
She was born on April 12, 1932, in Central City, Kentucky, the daughter of the late John D. and Lena (Kiper) Fraim. Nella was united in marriage to Robert Daniel Sr. on May 27, 1951. They shared more than 46 years together before his passing in 1998.
Nella graduated from Central City High School, where she proudly served as a cheerleader for the Golden Tide.
She spent many years in the restaurant industry and eventually became the owner and operator of the Snappy Grill. Nella also owned and operated Freezer Fresh and later The Book Store. She was an accomplished bowler and had the trophies to prove it, traveling far and wide to compete in tournaments. A devoted fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats, Nella's love for Elvis Presley may have rivaled even her enthusiasm for UK basketball. She enjoyed trips to the beach, especially seeing the palm trees, and loved sewing and shopping.
Above all else, Nella cherished her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the joy of her life, and she delighted in spoiling them whenever she could. She also adored her beloved dog, Muffin, who was her faithful companion and best friend.
Survivors include her son, Robert Tudor Jr. and his wife, Christine; three grandchildren, Ryan Tudor and his wife, Michelle, Courtney Brown and her husband, Ross, and Lucas Tudor Sr. and his wife, Rachel; ten great-grandchildren, Addison Tudor, Lillian Emmick and her husband, Prestyn, Grace Tudor, Isaac Tudor, Trinity Brown, BrookLynn Brown, Peyton Brown, Jaxon Brown, Paisley Tudor, and Lucas Tudor Jr.; and one great-great-granddaughter, Ruby Renee.
In addition to her parents and husband, Nella was preceded in death by her sister, Nova Greathouse.
Private services will be held, with burial taking place in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the River's Edge Animal Shelter.
