Norma F. Sprinkle, 80, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at her home in Bristow, Indiana.
Norma was born on September 12, 1945, in Mount Pleasant, Indiana, to the late Kenneth Charles Picou and Catherine Bernice (Jeffries) Picou-James.
She was a proud member of the first graduating class of Perry Central High School in 1963. On May 15, 1965, Norma was united in marriage to William “Bud” Sprinkle, and together they recently celebrated 60 years of marriage.
Norma worked as a babysitter and was lovingly known as “Meme” by family and friends. She was a faithful member of St. Isidore Catholic Church. Norma enjoyed gardening, quilting, flowers, hunting, and cooking.
Above all, Norma was an amazing wife, mother, and Meme. She loved all her children—both by blood and by heart—with her whole being.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Bud Sprinkle of Bristow, children, Brian (Jackie) Sprinkle of Bristow, Kimberly (Pat) Kluesner, and Kevin (Lisa) Sprinkle all of Bristow, siblings, Annette (Earl) Hubert of Cloverdale, Marilyn Mogan of Chrisney, and Charlie Picou of Magnet, ten grandchildren, James, Gordon, Dwight, Kevin, Alysia, Leslie, Michele, Shelby, Cody, and Jordan, 12 great-grandchildren, along with countless extended family members and friends whose lives she touched over the years.
Per Norma's request there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
