Ralph Ray Hempfling , 79, passed away January 7, 2021 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 25, 1941 in Spencer County to John and Flora (Bolten) Hempfling.
Ralph was united in marriage to Regina Riley on June 11, 1960 and retired from Tell City Chair Co. in 1994 after 38 years.
He enjoyed restoring old cars and trucks, working in his garage, spending time with his grandsons, taking his daughter fishing, time with his friends and family and one friend he called his son, Jake Thomas.
Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Regina ; a daughter, Barbara (Robert) Harrison of Tell City; sisters, Patricia Miller (Kenny) of Boonville, Carolyn Baugh (Jim) of Newburgh,, Linda Albin (Steve) of Grandview, Bonnie Schnerr (David) of Evansville, Shirley Robbins (Mark) of Tell City, Diane Litkenhus (Steve) of Chrisney; brothers, Johnny Hempfling, Jr. of Tell City, Jerry Hempfling (Martha) of Ferdinand, Larry Hempfling of Jasper; grandsons, Charles Harrison and Brandon Harrison both of Tell City, IN.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday, January11, 2021 at t Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with burial following in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Hospital for Children or Riley Children's Hospital.
