Obituary

Randall A. Powers, 73, passed away Wednesday, January 12,2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.

 

He was born August 2,1948 in Tell City the son of the late Finis and Ruby (Johnson) Powers. Randall retired as a machine operator from Kimball International and enjoyed motorcycles and spending time with his friends and family.

 

Survivors include his longtime companion, Betty Holman of Tell City; children, Demetrius “DeeDee” Powers of Fayetteville, NC, Jeff Powers of Shelbyville, IN, Crystal Powers of Nashville, TN, Travis Powers of Francisco, IN, Stacie Henderson of Hawesville, KY , Brianna Powers of Hawesville, KY; siblings, Ronald Powers of Napoleon, IN, Judy Hagedorn of Tell City, IN, Finis Powers, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN, Mary Kent of Brazil, IN; grandchildren, Blayne Powers, Ayva Powers, Trevin Powers, Isabelle Henderson, Canyon Henderson, Kalianne Henderson, Cooper Henderson, Dillon Powers, Kennedy Powers, Emma Kuntz, Devin Lockman and a great grandchild, Riley Mae Powers.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Finis Powers, Sr., his mother Ruby Heitger, his step-father, Carl Heitger, a sister Jane Ann, and a son Clifford.

 

Services will be 3:00 pm Saturday January 15, 2022 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with burial in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 12:30pm Saturday to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
