Raymond Lee Board

Raymond Lee Board, Sr., 79, of Evanston, IN passed away Sunday July 11, 2021 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN.

He was born in Stephensport, KY on November 26, 1941 the son of the late Estel and Hazel (Short) Board. Raymond married Bernice Weedman on January 22, 1962. He was a member of the Church of the Living God in Owensboro, KY and enjoyed playing music and being with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice of Evanston, IN; children, Juanita (Rick) Taylor of Chrisney, IN, Loretta (Phil) Michel of Huntingburg, IN, Marcia (Jeff) Kaetzel of Dale, IN, Raymond, Jr. (Gina) Board of Lewisport, KY; siblings, Gary (Lena) Board of Tell City, IN, Kathy (Jerry) Ball of Cannelton, IN, Joyce (Bob) Lindauer of Evanston, IN, Betty (Allen) Taylor of Tell City, IN, Gail Moseby of KY, Connie Brock of Ferdinand, IN, Ronnie Board of Tell City, IN; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Margaret Board, Violet Howell, Danny Board, Anna Reed, Richard Board, Daryl Board and Barbara Board.

Services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Zoercher-Gillick with Rev. Linda Young officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday and from 11:00 am to service time Thursday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
