Obituary

Richard Talbott, 74, of Tell City, passed away on August 18, 2023. Richard was born on October 31, 1948, in Boonville, IN, the son of Kermit and Dorothy (Huebschman) Talbott.

 

Richard graduated from Chrisney High School in 1966, and later earned his associate degree. He served his country joining the United States Army during the Vietnam era and later worked as an electrician. He enjoyed IU basketball and Notre Dame football, going on drives, playing pool and euchre, throwing darts, fishing and spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.

 

Survivors include his son, Jonathan (Stacey) Talbott of Tell City; his siblings; 3 grandchildren, Sierra (Beau), Brandon (Aimee) and Jordon (Caitlyn); and 7 great-grandchildren, Nick, Rylee, Lucas, Zayden, Rodlee, Reylann, and River.

 

Richard is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

 

Services will be at 11am Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Evanston with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

 

Visitation will be held from 9am to 11am Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at St. John's Lutheran Church.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to Rivers Edge Animal Shelter
