Robert D. Wittman

Robert D. Wittman, 62, of Tell City, IN, passed away on April 6, 2024, at his home.

He was born in Perry County, IN, on March 1, 1962, to the late Kermit and Lena (Coultas) Wittman.

Robert worked at the Abbey Press in printing for several years, he also had worked at ATTC and Automated Routing. He enjoyed cutting firewood and riding his motorcycle. On one ride to South Dakota, he made it all the way there and set up camp just in time for the snow to start falling. Although his trip ended sooner than he would have liked, it was a fond memory he shared with many.

He is survived by his sister, Joyce Beard of Dale, IN; nieces, Michelle (Ben) Grimm, Brittany (Michael) Jones; and nephew, Jacob Beard.

In addition to his parents Robert was preceded in death by his brother, John Wittman, and brother-in-law, Larry Beard.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Evanston, IN.
