Roger A. Young

Roger Alan Young, 61, passed away on February 9, 2023, in Havana, Florida.

Roger was born on September 27, 1961, the son of William T. and Regina “Jean” (Kleeman) Young.

Roger worked for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers as a lineman for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, work, and traveling.

Survivors include his mother Jean Young of Troy; sons, Kyle (Mikayla) Young of Malone, FL, and Garrett Young of Havana, FL; siblings, Mick (Rita) Young of Rocky Point and Debbie (Donnie) Froehlich of Tell City; brother-in-law, Mike King; and several nieces and nephews.

Roger is preceded in death by his father, William Young, and his sister, Sandy King.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, February 17, 2023, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Alvey officiating. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 17, 2023, from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the funeral home.
