Romella F. (Harris) Racine

Romella F. (Harris) Racine, 87, passed away at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City on March 17, 2023.

She was born November 1, 1935 to the late James R. and Fern (Schroeder) Harris.

She married Clifford Racine on August 30, 1958. She was a life-long member of St. John's Lutheran Church and a member of the St. John's Ladies Aid. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards and gardening.

Surviving her is her daughter, Regina Schaefer (Kenny) of Tell City; her son, Randy Racine (Ann) of Tell City; and her sisters-in-law, Yvonne Harris of Winchester, IN and Imogene Lahee of Tell City. She was blessed with 4 grandchildren, Hannah Schaefer-Cornett (Todd) and Chris Schaefer, Dominic Bauer (Mandy) and Brian Bauer (Amanda), and 2 great-granddaughters, Kennedy and Audrey Bauer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clifford Racine and brother, Carl Ray Harris.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am Monday, March 20, 2023 at St. John's Lutheran Church with burial immediately following in the Church Cemetery. Pastor Steve Shank will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 pm Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home and from 9 to 10 am Monday, March 20, 2023 at St. John's Lutheran Church.
