Ronald Fendel Obituary

Ronald Lee Fendel, 69, a native of Tell City, IN, died February 2, 2014 at his home in Hendersonville, TN.

He was born in Tell City on June 14, 1944 to the late Edwin and Lucille (Karney) Fendel. Also preceding him in death is a brother, Larry.

Ron was a graduate of Tell City High School, Western Kentucky University and a veteran of the air force. He had worked as an artist for the Abbey Press and the San Jose Mercury News. He later moved to Tennessee to pursue a songwriting career.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM CST on Tuesday February 11, 2014 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Military rites will be conducted by the VFW Post #2939
