Ronald M. Williams, Jr., 72, of Tell City, IN, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025, at his home.
He was born on May 3, 1952, to Ronald and Mary Agnes (Huff) Williams Sr. Ron was united in marriage to Diann Lynn Fischer on October 4, 1975. Together they shared 47 wonderful years, before her passing in 2023.
Ron was a 1971 graduate of Tell City High School. He retired from Fischer's Furniture in May of 2017, after 40 years of dedicated service. Ron was a member of the VFW Post 2939, Moose Lodge 1424, American Legion Post 213, and the FOP.
Ron was an avid hunter who enjoyed tinkering in his garage. He also enjoyed watching IU Basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals. Ron was a wonderful cook and the go-to guy when it came to grilling for benefits and fundraisers. He was always happy to oblige, grilling to perfection. On any given day you could catch Ron at Braunie's by 7am for breakfast, then to the Pour Haus around 11am for his lunch beer, and by 3pm he was off to the Moose.
Ron enjoyed the time he spent with his friends and family, especially his beautiful daughters and the 5 amazing grandchildren they gifted to him. He will always be remembered for his big heart, infectious laugh, and a smile that could light up any room.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer (Brett) Tuggle of Ferdinand, Lisa (Coy) Zuelly of Tell City, and Sara (Joey) Foster of Marion, IL; siblings, Jim (Earla) Williams of Tobinsport and Carol (Sam) Evrard of Reo; and five grandchildren, Madeline and Will Tuggle, Peyton, Carli and Leighton Zuelly.
