Rosemary LaGrange Obituary

Rosemary “Rosie” LaGrange, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.

She was born February 9, 1952 and was raised in the Siberia community the daughter of the late Louis and Mildred (Miller) Denu. Rosie married David LaGrange on March 17, 1990 and had worked as an administrative assistant at Tell City Chair Company. She was a master diver and enjoyed diving in the Cayman Islands. She loved gardening, traveling, fishing, sailing, her pets, spending time with friends and family especially her grandchildren.

Rosie and her daughter, Jennifer (Jay), were best friends and were together nearly everyday. They could be found on the front porch, or on the deck having cocktails and solving the problems of the world. When Jay needed her mommy, her mommy dropped everything to be by her side.

Survivors include her husband David ;her daughter, Jennifer Hahus, step-daughter, Katie Williams, step son, Gabe LaGrange; her siblings, Edwin Denu, Donald (Deb) Denu, Peggy Franchville, Middy (Jack) Keller, Michael (Regina) Denu; grandchildren, Cain, Tate, Beau; step-grandchildren, Luke, Eli, Jonah, Grace, Brady, Abby, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dorothy and Ovalee LaGrange and a sister-in-law, Rosalie Denu.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents is a brother John Denu a sister-in-law, Donna Denu and a brother-in-law, Randy Franchville..

Services will be private with burial in St. Isidore Catholic Cemetery.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
