Roy P. Myers Jr.

Roy P. Myers Jr. 86 passed away Monday October 17, 2022, at his home.

Born in Bone Gap, Illinois, he was the son of the late Roy Kenneth Myers Sr. and Mildred (Plunkett) Myers. He was united in marriage to Sharon (Schulthise) Myers on June 21, 1959. Roy was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and worked at Tell City Glass for 40 years. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ where he served on the church council. He was also the treasurer of the North Spencer School Board while building the Heritage Hills High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and making toys.

Survivors include his wife Sharon Myers of New Boston; children, Jeff Myers of Dublin, Ohio and Brett Myers of New Boston; grandchildren, Ryan, Olivia, Joseph.

In addition to his parents, Roy is preceded in death by a sister, Joy Moore.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, October 21, 2022, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Pastor Derek Roe officiating. Burial will be in Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery near Fulda, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday October 20, 2022, and from 8:30am to service time Friday at the funeral home.
