Sonya Anderson

Sonya Anderson, 51, passed away January 10, 2023, at the Heartford House in Owensboro, KY. She was born on July 25, 1971, in Tell City, IN, the daughter of William Elder who precedes her in death and Mary (Paulin) Williams. Sonya was united in marriage to Shaun Anderson on July 26, 2020. She was a 1989 graduate of Cannelton High School and was a hard worker at Wall's Drive-In in Cannelton for many years.

Surviving are her mother Mary (Paulin) Williams; her husband, Shaun Anderson of Owensboro, KY; her children, Lesley (Brandon) Henderson, Gary (Ariel) Trumbo, and Devin Trumbo, all of Owensboro, Ky; brothers, Todd (Jennifer) Simpson of Cannelton, Tommy (Cheryl) Simpson of Tell City, and Michael (Shawn) Williams of Tell City; sister, Kelly Louden of Madisonville, KY.

Preceding her in death in addition to her father, are her siblings, Toby Nugent, Cathy Howell, Tina Simpson, and Terry Alvey, and her stepfather Duke Williams.

Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the funeral home.
