Stella Scales Obituary

Stella Mae Scales, 87, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Tell City.

Stella was born November 13, 1927 to the late Amos and Nannie Lee (Probus) Jackson.

She was married on July 16, 1949 to William Scales, who precedes her in death in 1999.

Stella was a member of Lilly Dale Church of Christ.

Surviving are her children, Rocky Scales of Mississippi, Gail Piper of Rome, IN, Connie Ward of Dothan, AL and Tina Pointon of Michigan City, IN; sisters, Wanda James and Mabel; a brother, Junior Jackson; 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.

Preceding her in death are grandchildren, Dawn Piper and Amanda Harper;

Per Stella's request there will be no services. Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
