Susan N. Smith

Susan N. Smith, 75, passed away February 16, 2021 at her home in Cannelton, IN.

She was born at Derby Indiana on November 24, 1945 the daughter of the late Irvin and Mary (Durbin) Bernardi. She was married Coy Lee Smith on May 5, 1962 who preceded her in death in 2002. Susan enjoyed bingo and playing cards with her friends at the Oaks Senior Citizens Center.

She is survived by her children, Angel Smith of Evansville, IN, Joseph Smith of Miffin, IN, William Smith of Miffin, IN, Thomas Smith Wickliffe, IN, Robert Smith of Crawfordsville, IN, sisters, Mary Little of Tell City and Faye Carlson of Tell City, IN a brother, Fred Bernardi of Cannelton, IN, grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Brandie Smith, William Smith, Christopher Smith, Andrew Smith, Chantel Smith, Casey Smith, Natasha Smith, Samantha Brinkworth, Savannah Smith, Ashton Smith, Logan Foll, Alana Smith, Lydia Riddle, Aleah Grimes, Patrick Grimes, Amanda Smith, Hope Smith and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son Daniel, sisters Becky Appiarios, Ida James, a brother, Junior (Irvin) Bernardi and a half brother, Gar Terry.

Services will be at 11:00 am Thursday February 25, 2021 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral home with Bro Eddie Olberding officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 7:00pm Wednesday and 9:00am to service time Thursday at the funeral home.
