Tammy K. Tanner, 56, passed away April 29, 2019 with family and friends by her side at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City, Indiana.
Born April 27, 1963, in Tell City, Indiana, she was the daughter of Mary (Schaefer) and Charles Scott, Sr. She was working at Acosta and had worked at Spencer Plastics. She enjoyed playing music with the Log Cabin Pickers and spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs, Lucky, Harley, and GiGi.
Surviving are her children, Shawn Scott (Jennifer) of Murray, KY, Melissa Tanner (Kenneth Lain) of Cannelton, IN, and Heather Bennett (Curtis) of Tell City, IN; siblings, Charles Scott, Jr. (Susie) of Lincoln City, IN and Karen Riley (Don) of Cannelton, IN; 12 grandchildren, Jacob Kennedy, Anisa Mottler, Matthew Scott, James Howard, Hanna Scott, Sydney Scott, Carson Scott, Bryleigh Gieseke, Alexzander Gieseke, Arebella Bennett, Abrianna Bennett, and Kenneth Lain; and 2 great-grandchildren, Weston and Waylon Kennedy.
Preceding her in death is her husband, Randall Tanner; her parents; and her daughter, Brandy Tanner.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am Friday, May 3 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Thursday, May 2 and from 9 – 10 am Friday at the funeral home.
