Terry Benningfield Obituary

Terry L. Benningfield, 61, passed away on May 31, 2026, at Specialty Select Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Born on October 22, 1964, in Northampton, Massachusetts, Terry was the son of the late David and Kazuko “Kay” (Kaneko) Benningfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Benningfield, and his nephew, Timothy Benningfield.

Terry was a 1983 graduate of Tell City High School and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he dedicated many years of hard work to DMI, where he worked in the warehouse. Terry was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to providing for his family.

On January 19, 2006, he was united in marriage to Angie Marsh. Together, they built a life founded on love and devotion to one another.

In his free time, Terry enjoyed throwing darts, watching NASCAR races and Kentucky Wildcats basketball, and spending time on his computer. He appreciated life's simple pleasures and treasured the time he spent with family and friends.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Angie Benningfield; his daughters, Haley Benningfield of Owensboro, Kentucky, Breanna (Keith) Montgomery of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Christy (Brandon) Severs of Lewisport, Kentucky; his cherished grandchildren, Kaleb, Kayden, Kyler, Kyngsli, Gracelynn, and Keinan; his brothers, Chuck (Kari) Benningfield of Tell City, Scott (Kim) Benningfield of Santa Claus, Indiana, and John (Julie) Benningfield of Santa Claus, Indiana; as well as many nieces and nephews.
