Thelma Arnold

Thelma J. (Scales) Arnold, 80, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Brickyard Healthcare in Tell City, Indiana.

She was born on March 23, 1945, to the late William and Bertha Scales. Thelma was the last surviving child of thirteen siblings.

Thelma was united in marriage to her first husband, James Worthan, and later to her second husband, Bill Arnold. Both preceded her in death.

Thelma is survived by her three sons: James (Kaye) Worthan, Mark (Sharon) Worthan, and Scott (Carrie) Worthan; nine grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Per Thelma's request there will be no services. A private burial will take place in New Cliff Cemetery in Cannelton, IN.
