Timothy Holtzman Jr., 54, passed away suddenly on June 9, 2023, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, in Owensboro, KY.
Tim was born on April 4, 1969, at Perry County Memorial Hospital, in Tell City, IN, the son of Timothy and Ida (Hubert) Holtzman Sr.
Tim was a 1987 graduate of Tell City High School then went on to further his education by graduating from Lincoln College of Technology, in Indianapolis, IN. He had previously worked as a Diesel Mechanic at Styline Diesel Trucking Co. Later Tim purchase Holtzman Trucking Co. Inc. of which he is still part owner. He was a member of the Tell City Lodge 1424 Loyal Order of Moose and many pool and dart leagues. More than anything Tim was a great father and loved spending time with his girls.
Tim is survived by his two daughters, Erin Holtzman and Kyndal Holtzman both of Tell City; parents, Tim and Ida Holtzman Sr.; sisters, Teri (Mike) Hagan of Leopold and Jennie (Tim) Coultas of Gatchel; the mother of his girls, Lee Ann Holtzman; his special friend, Aryreka; his dog, Bit Bit; and his nieces and nephews, Andrew (Deidra) Harpenau, Hannah Harpenau, Greg (Lindsay Hauser) Coultas, and Jessica (Sam) Rennie.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, June 12, 2023, at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Bristow, with Fr. Luke Waugh officiating. Burial will follow in St. Isidore Church Cemetery in Bristow, IN.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 2pm to 7pm and on Monday, June 12, 2023, from 8:30am to 10am at the funeral home.
