Timothy Jackson

Timothy D. Jackson, 63, of Cannelton, passed away on April 13, 2025.

He was born on January 15, 1962, in Tell City, IN, to the late Kenneth B. and Mary Catherine (Nugent) Jackson.

Tim was a 1980 graduate of Cannelton High School. He married Kim Smitson on January 14, 2007. Tim had previously worked for Branchville Correctional Facility and also MasterBrand, from where he retired after several years of service. He enjoyed golfing and throwing horseshoes.

Tim is survived by his wife of 17 years, Kim Jackson; stepdaughter, Michelle (Dale) Kaufman; brother, Scott (Clemmie) Jackson; and 3 grandchildren, Alec, Lewis, and Elanor Kaufman; brother-in-law, John (Robin) Smitson; sister-in-law, Kathy (Darren) Poole; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his son, Cliff Jackson, and his sister, Stacy Schraner.

Per his wishes there will be no services.
