Tony A. Linne

James A. “Tony” Linne, 68, of Tell City, passed away on Monday July 8, 2024, at Brickyard Healthcare.

Born in Tell City, IN, on January 28, 1956, he was the son of the late Ralph and Helen (Cravens) Linne.

Tony was a 1974 graduate of Tell City High School. He was united in marriage to Deanna Schauberger on October 10, 1981. Tony retired from the Branchville Correctional Facility. He enjoyed watching the history channel, going hunting and was an avid gun collector.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Deanna Linne of Tell City; son, Jarrod Tyler (Angela Babb) Linne of Bloomington, IN; brothers, Ralph Linne Jr. of Troy, Larry (Pat) Linne of Tell City, and Jeff (Penny) Linne of Newtonville.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00pm on Friday July 12, 2024, and from 9:00am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
