Verna Logsdon, 89, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Green Valley Care Center in New Albany.
She was born July 8, 1924 to the late Edwin and Addie (Lawalin) Baumgart. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Paul Logsdon and siblings, twin Erna Price, Hazel Faulkner, Ralph and Ruth Baumgart.
Verna was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ and was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are nieces, Vicki Kruer of Floyds Knobs, IN, Karen Carmickle of New Albany, IN and Jackie Waggoner of Madison, IN
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 1:00 PM CST at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Pastor J.T. Hills will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
