Verna M. Lottes

Verna M. Lottes, 89, transitioned from this life to the arms of Jesus on Saturday October 16, 2021 at Heartford House in Owensboro, KY.

Verna was greeted by her husband of 72 years, Robert Lottes, sisters, Ann Carter, Jane Rowley, brothers, Ralph Miller, Charles Miller, parents, Everett and Mary Lydia (McMahon) Miller and three brothers in infancy.

She was born in Spencer County, IN on April 11, 1932 was formerly employed at Kroger in Tell City and enjoyed travel and square dancing.

Verna was a member of the Evangelical United Church of Christ and the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Larry) Carter of Owensboro, KY, her son, Bruce (Kaye) Lottes of Tell City, IN, grandchildren, Tessa (Phil) Flamion, Holly (Kevin) Carter Kaleb (Aimee) Carter, great grandchildren, Elijah, Quinn and Claire Carter, Paxton and Scarlett Harris and Avrey Thompson.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday October, 19, 2021 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Rev Mark McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Evangelical United Church of Christ or Hospice.
