Veronica L. Dean

Veronica L. Dean, 70, passed away Friday August 12, 2022, at her home.

Veronica was born May 11, 1952, in Tell City, Indiana, the daughter of Arthur Watson and Alice (Taylor) Watson.

She liked to make jewelry in her spare time, she enjoyed the outdoors and gardening.

Survivors include her mother, Alice Watson of Tell City; husband, Blair "Larry" Dean; daughter, Teresa Dean Blair (Shephard) (David W. Blair) of Gatchel; Siblings, Virginia “Jenny” VanWinkle (James McFall) of Gatchel, Prentice Watson of Gatchel, Jim (Becky) Watson of Gatchel, Patrick Watson of German Ridge, David (Diane) Watson of Gatchel, Dorothy (Terry) Shephard of Hawesville and Ethal Ann (Randy) Racine of Gatchel; grandchildren, Ryan Shephard, Joshua Dean and Eren Marks.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her son, Larry James Dean and her granddaughter, Nicole Shephard.

Funeral services will be held at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home at 1:30pm on Monday August 15, 2022. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 6:00pm Sunday August 14, 2022, and Monday from 11:00am until service time at the funeral home.
