Wayne A. Hagedorn

Wayne A. Hagedorn, 80, of Tell City passed away on January 8, 2023. Wayne was born May 3, 1942, in Tell City to Claude and Hilda (Elder) Hagedorn.

Wayne was a graduate of the Class of 1960 from Tell City High School. He served in the Indiana National Guard and was an Insurance Agent for Prudential. He was a member of several organizations including the Jaycees, Moose, American Legion, and Knights of Columbus. Wayne enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, cooking, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grand babies.

Surviving are his two sons, Jeff (Anna) Hagedorn of Troy and Mark (Elsa) Hagedorn of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; sisters, Wanda Brown and Martha Schank both of Tell City; brother, Tom (Cathy) Hagedorn of Tell City; and his 6 grand babies, Elena, Lily, Gisela, Benicio, Lexia, and Savanna.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his siblings, Phil Hagedorn, Gene Hagedorn, and Debbie Sandage.

Visitation will be Thursday January 12, 2023, from 2:00 to 7:00pm and on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 9:00am until service time at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Friday, January 13, 2022, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Marks Cemetery in Tell City.
