William "Bill" Hiles, Jr.

William “Bill” Hiles, Jr., 80, passed away Saturday February 19, 2022, at his home in Chrisney, IN.

He was born in Cambridge, Ohio on January 8, 1942, to the late William and Barbara (Heckard) Hiles.

Bill was a truck driver for 47 years and worked for Rural King in Jasper, retiring in 2007. He was a member of Community Christian Church in Tell City, IN and a Navy veteran during Vietnam. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Jane (Albertz) Hiles of Chrisney, IN; Children, William (Lynette) Hiles of California, PA, Barbara (Jeff) Spencer of Amarillo, TX and Errol (Yevette) McDonald of Tell City, IN; Siblings, Terry (Ruth) Hiles and Marlene (Sam) Greene; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sabrina Marie-Hiles Fedeli; 1 brother and 3 sisters

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, February 21, 2022, and from 9:00am to service time on Tuesday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home in Tell City, IN.

Services will be held on 11:00am Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Troy Cemetery in Troy, IN where there will be military rites.
