Wilma J. Hildebrandt

Wilma J. Hildebrandt, 73, passed away May 14, 2024, at Oakwood Health Center.

Born August 16, 1950, in Tell City, IN, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Wilhelmina (Hearst) Perryman.

Wilma was a 1968 graduate of Tell City High School and went on to further her education by obtaining her associate degree in business from Ivy Tech Community College. She married Charles Hildebrandt on September 25, 1994. Wilma had worked for 15 years at Masterbrand, 25 years at Tell City Chair Company and part time for nearly 30 years at the Freezer Cafe.

She enjoyed riding and driving her own motorcycle, reading, and doing things her way.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Hildebrandt; stepchildren, Mark (Cindy) Hildebrandt of Owensboro, Brian (Debbie) Hildebrandt of Evansville, Teresa (J) Clemens of Rocky Point and Stacy (Danny) Hosler of Tell City; sisters, Donna (Winfield) Thomas and Margie (Bob) Zoglman both of Newtonville; brother, Gary Perryman of Evansville; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her first husband, David Shellenberger; siblings, Robert Perryman, Barbara Perryman, Phyllis Ward, and Lester Perryman.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am Friday, May 17, 2024, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 16, 2024, and from 8:00 a.m. to service time on Friday at the funeral home.
