Zelda F. Foertsch, 93, passed away on Tuesday September 20th, 2022, in Evansville, IN.
Zelda was born March 29th, 1929, in Perry County, Indiana. The daughter of the late Fred and Eva (Thiery) Falls. She was united in marriage on May 12th, 1950, to the late Wallace Foertsch. Zelda worked at GE and retired from Holiday Foods in Santa Claus, IN. She enjoyed reading, bible study, puzzles, and attending Little Pigeon Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter Gail (Michael) Hemingway of Santa Claus; brothers, Wayne (Faye) Falls of Tell City and Don Falls of Texas; grandchildren, Angie (Alan) Gilmore, Brandee Mckim, Shane Hemingway, Jered (Becky) Hemingway, Keri (Stephen) Montgomery; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Zelda is preceded in death by her siblings, Lela Blandford, Jim Falls, and Opal Nix.
Visitation will be held at Little Pigeon Baptist Church of Lamar, on Saturday September 24th, 2022, from 10:00 am until service time.
Funeral services will be held at Little Pigeon Baptist Church, on Saturday September 24th, 2022, at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Bob Duley officiating, with burial at Grandview New Hope Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Little Pigeon Baptist Church.
