Betty Jo Reddin, 84, passed away March 5, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Center in Owensboro, Kentucky.
She was born in Arkansas on May 10, 1932 to the late Jesse Griffin and Annie Pearl Burkhart Griffin. She was united in marriage to Herb Reddin on June 27, 1951.
Betty attended Barkada Methodist Church in Monticello, Arkansas. She was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, crocheting, doing crosswords, and visiting with friends and family. She loved her many animals that she cared for over the years and was also an avid frog collector.
Survivors include her sister, Mary Temple (Ed) of Wilmar, AR; son, Dale Reddin (Marsha) of Hawesville, KY; daughters, Sue James (Ronnie) of Tell City, IN, Kathy Kleeman (Chris) of Tell City, IN, and Tammy Davis (Billy) of Orange, TX; five grandchildren, Laura Reddin (Ray Logsdon) of Owensboro, KY, Jamie Ward (Kevin) of Lewisport, KY, Joy Alvey (Chris) of Tell City, IN, Christy Kleeman (James Zorn) of Magnet, IN, and Faithe Davis of Orange, TX; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great, great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Herb; brothers, Jake (J.C.) Griffin, Bill Griffin, Sonny Griffin, and Nathan Griffin; and sisters, Francis Wade, Lucille David, and Emma West.
