Glenn O. Katterhenry, 92, passed away at his residence on April 5, 2017.
He was born November 17, 1924 to Frank and Amelia Todrank Katterhenry in Huntingburg, Indiana. He married Grace Satkamp Katterhenry on April 19, 1947.
Glenn served in the Army during World War II and retired from Holland Dairy in 1988 after working there for 39 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and he enjoyed doing volunteer work.
He is survived by his children, Carol Dooley (Mike) of Jasper, Don Katterhenry (Sandi) of Tell City, and Debbie Ward (Perry) of Evansville; 3 grandchildren, Shawn Dooley, Kara Ward and Bryan Katterhenry; and 4 step-grandchildren, Mark Finley, Matt Finley, Doug Izsak, and Amanda Banks; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife, Grace; a son, Philip Katterhenry; a sister, Lucille Brockriede, 2 brothers, Orval and Harold; and a grandson, Scott Ward.
Funeral Services will be at 11am Saturday, April 8 at the First United Methodist Church with burial following in Zoar Cemetery in Zoar, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Friday and from 9 to 10:30 am Saturday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ruth Ash Memorial Endowment Fund of the First United Methodist Church or the Gideon’s International.
