A 1951 graduate of Tell City High School, Mary soon married Eddie Marchand on November 17, 1951. She retired from General Electric and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Mary cherished being with her family; she enjoyed traveling, bowling and playing bingo.
Surviving is her husband of 63 years, Eddie Marchand of Pellville; daughter, Patty Marchand of Tell City; son Ronnie Marchand and wife, Anissa of Pellville; daughter in law, Jeanie Marchand of Tell City; sisters, Thelma Wolf and Velma Taylor of Tell City, and Betty Morris of Hawesville; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are sons, Wayne and Terry Marchand; a sister, Nancy Peters, and brother, Henry Ford, Jr.
UPDATE: Due to weather, Funeral Services will now be held at 10:00 AM CST of Friday, February 20, 2015 at Zoercher-Gilllick Funeral Home. THERE WILL NOT BE A MASS AT CHURCH. Father Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, for those that wish to go. Visitation will at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home on Thursday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Friday 8:30-9:30 AM.
